The Lockson Brand, a long history of excellent service since 1944. A family owned business that has relied on
the eloquence of old world traditions and the efficiency
of modern day technology. Our long standing logo of Auguste Rodin’s The Kiss, portrays a moving experience. This logo beautifully represents the Lockson family of personal service, efficiency, loyalty and honesty.
In 1944, cousins Lionel Lockhart and Harold Adamson became partners and formed Lockson, a new UK-based shipping company specializing in the shipment of goods from the UK to worldwide locations. Shortly thereafter, they created a special service to meet the needs of several American clients who came to the UK to purchase antiques and required safe, reliable transport back to the US. The demand for this speciality grew quickly and Lockson's expertise expanded in kind.
Lionel's son Adam Lockhart, joined Lockson in 1976 with Bob King, who had been with the company since 1969. Lockhart and King developed a new business program aimed at expanding lockson's client base and capabilities. In 2000, Adam ventured to the US to open a New York area office. Karen Bagot, previously with The Packing Shop, joined Lockson in 2002
Today, Adam Lockhart and Karen Bagot, lead Lockson Inc. with extensive knowledge, personal care and detailed attention to client needs, Our clients have peace of mind, in knowing their precious art, antiques and special care items are
in the hands of experts.

AND THEY SAY...
"Dear Ms. Bagot,
Good afternoon. We write to extend our sincere appreciation to your outstanding staff, Joshua and George. They carefully transported two art works for us last Thursday, July 20th. We had a delivery window from
5-5:15 which they met but we unfortunately were delayed by unexpected traffic. After explaining this to your staff, they were cooperative, considerate and patiently waited for our arrival. Upon which, they continued their professionalism by carefully listening to our requests for placement and delivering with care taken to protect our home. Every interaction was pleasant, professional and beyond our expectations. We showed our appreciation in person but further felt it important that management be informed to recognize their achievement of excellent customer service".
Our resources are a result of years of experience, expertise and an international network of agents and industry partners.
